A LITTLE ABOUT GRACE & HER SWEET CHARLIE:
"I have been writing poetry on a regular basis since 1972. My husband, Charlie, and I have been in the truth for 40 years. He is an Elder in our hall, but with Parkinson's Disease and is unable to give talks anymore or go door to door. He has always been a wonderful person with a positive attitude and great sense of humor which has carried him through these 14 years of having P.D. He is unable to attend the Kingdom Hall but is on regular phone hook up for all the meetings and really appreciates those meetings! He never misses! We have been married 41 years and have 3 children all in the truth. We had some problems raising teenagers, but even our son who was disfellowshipped came back into the truth, so we have had much joy and some sadness.

We try to concentrate on the joy!

I come from a big family and most of them are not witnesses, but we are
very close and I love them very much, as you can tell from my poetry."

Cynthia Becker
Cynthia was born in Hawaii, raised in Boston, MA, and now lives in Washington State and has been one of Jehovah's witnesses for some 40 years.
