"TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE" -
To
all those disabled besides the theocratic literature to keep you busy, there
is a great book out in the book store called "Tuesdays with Morrie"
Both my husband and I read it. It made us realize it isn't what your
going through that matters as much as your 'attitude' with what your
going through. If he could have such a great attitude, even though
dying, without knowing God's purpose for the Kingdom and earthly hope,
imagine how we should feel knowing about Paradise Lost to Paradise being
regained someday and what blessing for mankind!

SOMETHING TO MAKE YOU LAUGH?
Grace writes:
...My husband is not much of a reader, but he got the book the brother wrote on
"Something to Laugh about" the comedian who became a witness, and he
laughed and laughed and laughed. Plus he said it built him up spiritually. I
still have not read the book, but have it by my bed to read because he enjoyed
it so much. Sometimes I don't think the disabled know what a joy they can be to
their spouses.
I ordered the book 'Something to Laugh About" by Jimmy & Marilyn Kennedy from Stoops mag. It is a 210 pg book. I got THREE of them and gave two of them away and my copy is loaned out now! Everyone LOVES IT.
It tells their life story from before they were witnesses. He was a professional comedian who met Red Skelton and several other famous people many years ago. He tells about his act (he was a clean comedian & very funny) and his many one liners that are very funny. They tell how they came into the truth and how it affected their lives and other people they know and met. The story is told with a lot of up building experiences, and also with a lot of humor that make you laugh a lot.
You can order the book by
calling 1-800-235-3536 this is a free number to place orders from catalog only.
They are brothers & sisters and very kind. (that work there) If you just
call to ask questions the number is: 1-417-678-6604; I have only got to read a
little in the book, because someone else hears of it & wants to borrow or
get it. I've had several people say, "THIS IS A BOOK THAT SHOULD BE IN
EVERYONE'S LIBRARY, YOU CAN'T STAY DEPRESSED READING IT!"!!
